Countdown

Create up to 10 countdowns per server. Each one can rename a channel ("⏳ 3d 4h 20m"), keep a live embed up to date with a progress bar, show a Remind me button, and post an end message with a mention when it hits zero.
How it works#
- Discord only lets a bot rename a channel about every 10 minutes, so the channel name updates every 10 minutes; the embed updates every minute, and every 15 seconds in the last 15 minutes.
- Everyone who clicked 🔔 gets a DM when the countdown ends.
- Pick a new date in the future on a finished countdown to start it again.
- The date and time use your own timezone, shown next to the field.
Set it up#
Part 1Create a countdown5 steps
Open the page
In the Studio sidebar, under UTILITIES, click Countdown.
New countdown
Click + New countdown, give it a name and pick the date and time.
Channel name (optional)
Pick a channel (a locked voice channel at the top works best) and a template like 🚀 Launch in {d}d {h}h.
Live embed (optional)
Pick a text channel, add a title, description, colour and image, and keep the 🔔 button on.
End message
Write what's posted at zero and who to mention. Click Create countdown.

Good to know#
Use a locked voice channel for the name: it sits at the top and nobody can type in it.
Great for launches, tournaments, game releases and New Year.
FAQ#
Why does the channel name lag behind?
Discord limits channel renames to about 2 per 10 minutes. The embed is the live one.
How many countdowns can I have?
Up to 10 per server.
