Follow Spotify artists and the bot posts in your channel when they release a new single, album or feature. Uses Spotify's official API, checked every 20 minutes.
Set it up#
Part 1Follow an artist4 steps
Open the page
In the Studio sidebar, under SOCIAL ALERTS, click Spotify Alerts.
Find the artist
Search by name or paste the artist link (Share → Copy link to artist).
Channel, role, release types
Pick the channel, an optional role to ping and what to announce (singles, albums, features).
Add
Click Add. The first check runs within 20 minutes.
Every setting explained#
Add artist
| Artist | Search by name, or paste an artist link from Spotify (Share → Copy link to artist). |
| Announcement channel | The Discord channel where posts appear. |
| Role to ping (optional) | Pinged with every post. |
| Announce | Singles, albums and/or features on other artists' releases. |
| Text above the post (optional) | Normal message text; variables work. |
| Accent color | Embed color. |
Followed artists
| Plain text (shown above the embed) | Normal message text above the embed — the place to ping a role. |
| Embed title override (optional) | Empty = the default title. |
| Embed description (optional) | Empty = the default description. Variables work. |
| Embed color | Color of the embed's side bar. |
| Extra fields | Extra title/value rows in the embed. |
