Spam bots post in every channel they can see. Spam Blocker gives them a trap channel that real members are told never to use: anyone who posts there is kicked or banned instantly and their recent messages are wiped.
How it works#
- A pinned warning tells humans not to post in the trap channel, with a live counter of how many bots were caught.
- Softban (ban + immediate unban) removes the account's recent messages and kicks it, but lets a real person rejoin.
- Experiments add extra tricks: renaming the channel daily, keeping it active, timing out rejoiners, forwarding the message to your log.
- Extra trap channels can trigger the same action.
Before you start#
A new text channel near the top of your channel list, e.g. #dont-post-here.
The bot needs Ban Members and Manage Messages.
Set it up#

Open the page
In the Studio sidebar, under SERVER MANAGEMENT, click Spam Blocker.
Pick the trap channel
Choose it under Trap channel.
Pick a log channel
Under Log channel choose where caught accounts are reported.
Choose the action
Softban, Ban, or Disabled (watch only).
Check the warning
Edit the pinned warning text if you like; {kicks} and {action} work as variables. Save.
The warning is pinned in the trap channel and the counter starts at 0.

Troubleshooting#
A real member got banned
Use Softban instead of Ban so people can rejoin, and unban them under Server Settings → Bans.
