Perfect for community game nights: people join a queue with a chat command, and one click shuffles them into random teams of your size (2v2, 3v3, 5v5…). Separate OBS overlays show the queue and the reveal.
Set it up#
Part 1Pick teams4 steps
Open the page
In the Studio sidebar, under GAMES & FUN, click Team Picker.
Team size and trigger
E.g. 2 and !joinqueue.
Texts and overlays (optional)
Change the titles and add the overlay URLs to OBS.
Pick teams
When the queue is full, click Pick teams.
Every setting explained#
Latest teams
| Team Picker enabled | Master switch. When off, this does nothing on your server; your settings are kept. |
| Team size | e.g. 2 for 2v2, 3 for 3v3. |
| Discord join trigger | Anyone can type this word in Discord to join the queue. |
| Overlay title | Title above the teams on stream. |
| Team label | E.g. Team — numbered automatically. |
| VS text | Shown between teams. |
| Leftover label | Shown next to anyone left over when the queue doesn't divide evenly. |
| Banner image (optional) | Shown above the teams on the result embed/overlay. |
| Join confirmation message | Reply when someone joins. |
| Empty queue message | Reply when someone picks teams with an empty queue. |
Twitch chat
| Twitch join trigger | Connect your Twitch account from the Wheel of Fortune page to also let viewers join the queue from Twitch chat. |
