Make the bot reply to your own trigger words, like !rules or !ip. Great for answers your members ask about often.

How it works#

A member types ! + your trigger; the bot replies with your response.
Each command can be switched on or off and restricted per role or channel under Command Settings.

Part 1Create a command3 steps

Open the page

In the Studio sidebar, under SERVER MANAGEMENT, click Custom Commands.

Trigger and response

Type the trigger without the ! and the response, e.g. trigger ip, response Our server IP is play.example.com, {user}!

Add it

Click Add command. It appears under Existing commands.

Type !ip in your server — the bot answers right away.

Trigger (without the ! prefix)	The word after ! that runs the command.
Response	What the bot replies. Variables work.

Type these in any message field of this feature — the bot fills them in when it posts.
